Pervaiz Musharaf favours Shehbaz Sharif as Prime Minister

Former President Pervaiz Musharraf criticised the ruling party of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) saying the Sharif family established properties in 1988 while collected money later in 2008. “I have no regrets and would do the same if given second chance,” he told.

While analysing the political unrest, he claimed the country would have been better off with Shehbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister.

Moreover, he said there was no pressure on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar when he confessed to facilitating in corrupt practices of Sharif family.

He claimed Dar has a 40-storey building in Dubai while he himself has only one flat. There will be more conflicts between junior and senior if Nawaz gets disqualified, he predicted.
