Why Panama JIT has requested SC for not making chapter 10 of report public

ISLAMABAD – The joint investigation team probing the Panama Leaks has submitted the final report comprising of 11 volumes to the Supreme Court on Monday.

While submitting the report, Wajid Zia who headed the JIT appealed to the court not to public the 10th volume.

The 10th volume consists of reports regarding the foreign countries assistance to the Pakistan government and the correspondence and may be helpful in further investigations into this effect.

Making this public will make the further investigations complicated.

The JIT started work on May 6 and held 59 meetings during two months.

It interrogated 23 family members, including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.
