ISLAMABAD: Congress leader Tariq Hamid Qarra ,in Indian occupied Kashmir, has termed the braid-chopping incidents taking place across the Kashmir valley as state sponsored saying such moves are aimed to change the political discourse in the territory.
Addressing party workers at Dak Bunglow in Sopore, Qarra said that the PDP, BJP and RSS combine had devised this strategy to suppress the people of Kashmir so that they were affected economically, emotionally and psychologically,reported Kashmir Media Service.
“This was the strategy adopted by Israel against the people of Palestine and same is being implemented now across Kashmir” said Qarra.
“Now a section of people across Kashmir are more worried about braid chopping on the other hand popular sentiment has gone to back burner, which is the actual strategy being adopted by the present regime while adopting idea from Israel,” he said.
