ISLAMABAD – Chinese embassy in the capital has wrote a letter to the Ministry of Interior regarding terrorists’ plan to murder Chinese ambassador, leading daily has reported.
The letter sent on Saturday pointed out that a terrorist belonging to East Turkistan Independent Movement has arrived in Pakistan. They said that the terrorist network aims to target workers of Chinese companies and had planned attacks on them.
It was requested in writing that security around employees of Chinese companies should be increased. The embassy asked for active security measures for the Chinese workers on CPEC projects.
It added that law enforcement agencies in Pakistan should quickly arrest the terrorist and hand it over to Chinese government.
