SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed, today, to register protest against unabated incidents of braid-chopping.
Call for the shutdown has been given by Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
Meanwhile, the puppet authorities have imposed restrictions in Srinagar to prevent people from staging demonstrations against growing incidents of braid cutting.
Restrictions have been imposed in Nowhatta, Maharaj Gunj, Rainawari, Khanyar, Safa Kadal, Maisuma and Kralkhud areas.
