SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, the family members and relatives of the Kashmiri detainees lodged in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar jail held a demonstration in Srinagar on Sunday, against the ruthless thrashing of several prisoners.

According to Kashmir Media Service, eighteen detainees were injured after being beaten up without any reason by the jail staff on 21st of last month. The victims also included Shahid Yousuf, the son of prominent freedom leader, Syed Salahuddin.
