GILGIT – Federal government has approved 2.55 billion rupees for special unit to ensure security of CPEC and other mega projects in the area, Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman said.
In a statement he said seven hundred Jawans would be recruited in the unit and the process will start during the current month.
He said Federal Government has also approved 280 million rupees for purchase of equipment.
