ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and European Union have signed a Grant FinancingAgreement on promotion of human rights in Pakistan.
Secretary, Economic Affairs Division Arif Ahmed Khan and European UnionDeputy Head of Mission to Pakistan Anne Marchal signed the agreement at aceremony in Islamabad.
The 9.6 million Euro grant also envisages enhancing the capacity of theFederal and Provincial Institutions.
It aims at promoting and creating awareness in the area of Human Rights incollaboration with Ministry of Human Rights.
