ISLAMABAD -Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reiterated Pakistan’sinterest in early completion of the energy projects with Turkmenistan andappreciated the progress made on the TAPI Project.
He was talking to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan RashidMeredov who paid a courtesy call on him in Islamabad on Monday.
The two sides also agreed to expedite connectivity projects between the twocountries including roads and rail linkages to increase trade between thetwo brotherly countries.
The Turkmen Foreign Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the presentstatus of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Gas Pipeline Project.
He invited Pakistani companies to participate in the tenders floated byTurkmenistan for TAPI.
