WASHINGTON – The United States and Japan have launched joint militaryexercises amid tensions with North Korea over its nuclear and ballisticmissile programs.
The 13th annual Iron Fist exercises are taking place in the US state ofCalifornia and will continue till 12th of February.
Over five hundred US Marines and sailors are partnering with about 350members of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force to train in fire supportoperations and amphibious assaults.
