ISLAMABAD: The World Bank (WB) Country Director, Patchamouthou IllangovanThursday discussed the ongoing and future WB-funded projects andprograqmmes with Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance, Miftah Ismail.
Illangovan apprised the adviser about the forthcoming visit of The WorldBank Vice President to Pakistan Annette Dixon, to discuss the current stateof economy and other related matters.
He also informed him about the visit to Pakistan by IFC Vice President forAsia Snezana (Nena) Stoiljkovic.
The WB country director shared with the adviser The WB programme forundertaking over a billion USD worth of new projects and developmentprogrammes in the near future.
The adviser welcomed the planned visit of Annette Dixon saying he lookedforward to meeting her for a meaningful discourse on Pak-World Bankeconomic cooperation.
He said the visit would help enhance the current level of bilateralcooperation.
