KASUR: Commissioner Lahore Division has requested for deployment of Rangersin Kasur to control the situation as another injured protester succumbed tohis injuries at a hospital.
Protests broke out in Kasur after killing of a 7 year old girl, Zainab. Theprotesters stormed the DPO and DC offices in Kasur.
The police opened firing at the protesters in which three people wereinjured. Two succumbed to their injuries at hospital.
The commission Lahore division requested the deployed of Rangers afterpolice failed to control the situation.
Meanwhile, the funeral prayer of the victim was held here, which was led byPAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and attended by thousands of people.
Meanwhile, parents of the victim landed at Islamabad airport, who were inSaudi Arabia for umrah.
