NELSON: The second one-day international between New Zealand and Pakistanwill be played on Tuesday at Nelson.
New Zealand lead the series 1-0 as they beat the green shirts in the firstone-dayer by 61 runs under the duckworth-lewis method thanks to a centuryby the skipper Kane Williamson.
Both Pakistan and New Zealand are expecting to play with an unchanged side.
New Zealand (probable): Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson(captain), Ross Taylor, Tom Latham (wicket keeper), Henry Nicholls,Mitchell Santner, Todd Astle, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson and Trent Boult.
Pakistan (probable): Azhar Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez,Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed (captain and wicket keeper), Faheem Ashraf,Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali and Rumman Raees.
The green shirts will have to play bat, bowl and field well if they are towin the game tomorrow.
According to the match preview report by CricInfo, the forecast in Nelsonisn’t ideal, with rain expected throughout the week. Clouds may clear earlyenough for the game to begin on time, though stoppages would not be asurprise.
“As for the pitch, it has historically been slower than most New Zealandsurfaces, and so the spinners may find themselves more in the game thanthey did in Wellington,” the report stated.
The second one-day will start at 03.00 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
