TABUK: Areas around the city of Haql witnessed rainfall accompanied bylight snow on Friday evening on Al-Lawz Mountain, while light snow, knownas the “white guest,” fell in Tabuk in the evening and disappeared at dawn.
The local population gathers every year to watch this phenomenon. Theyarrive at the mountain early to welcome the snow and consider this time tobe the most beautiful in the year.
Snow usually falls during the night and continues until the early morninghours; then it gradually disappears leaving some areas of Jabal Al-Lawzcovered with snow.
Security forces, traffic police, civil defense, and the Red Crescent werepresent in the area and the roads leading to Jabal Al-Lawz to organizetraffic.
