ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Railways moves ahead to connect the strategic GwadarPort with the entire Railways link of Pakistan to be further connected withChina’s Xinjiang province.

Ministry of Railways will launch work on new railway tracks aftercompletion of feasibility report on various routes.

The new tracks include Gwadar-Mastung and Basima with Jacobabad via Khuzdar.

According to official sources, a feasibility study of both routes is atadvance stage and upon the completion of feasibility study, PC-I will beprepared for approval.
