QUETTA: The crisis facing the Balochistan government escalated on Wednesdayas Chief Minister’s Adviser Prince Ahmad Ali Ahmadzai sent his resignationto the governor.
A no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri was submittedin the provincial assembly.
Earlier, Fisheries Minister Mir Sarfraz Domki submitted his resignation, asdid Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.[image: an image]link>
The no-confidence motion against Zehri was submitted earlier in the week bylawmakers Syed Agha Raza and Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo containing the signaturesof 14 MPAs.
In the motion, the provincial lawmakers mentioned that the resolution isbeing moved as per “Article 136 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic ofPakistan, for a vote of no confidence against the Chief Minister,Government of Balochistan.”
