Trump had called for a halt to Pakistan’s aid in a tweet posted on Mondayciting inaction against terrorism.
The US president regretted US approving aid packages to Pakistan when allPakistan did for the last 15 years was to fool the leaders.
Both civil and military leadership of Pakistan have rejected States callsin the recent past demanding Pakistan to do more against extremists andbanned outfits.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major GeneralAsif Ghafoor Bajwa had said in a media briefing weeks before Trump’s tiradethat Pakistan does not need aid but trust of United States.
