FAISALABAD – Multiple protests were held in various cities of Pakistan onTuesday against United States (US) president Donald Trump’s anti-Pakistanremarks.

Protesters gathered at District Council Chowk in Faisalabad and a groupstaged a protest at Jinnah Chowk in Sukkur among other cities to condemnTrump’s allegations against Pakistan.——————————

Trump had called for a halt to Pakistan’s aid in a tweet posted on Mondayciting inaction against terrorism.

The US president regretted US approving aid packages to Pakistan when allPakistan did for the last 15 years was to fool the leaders.

Both civil and military leadership of Pakistan have rejected States callsin the recent past demanding Pakistan to do more against extremists andbanned outfits.
