ISLAMABAD:Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday said on arrivalvisa facility would help attract investors and tourists towards Pakistan.
We desire to make Pakistan a “tourist friendly country” and such measureswill promote tourism, besides attracting foreign investors, he said whiletalking to a private news channel.
“Qatar had already announced its policy and open visa for people onarrival,” he added.
He said as far as security matters were concerned, Pakistan would notcompromise. The registered tour operators would make scrutiny to checkgenuineness of tourists, he added.
Pakistan, he said, was the best place for investment. The doors were openfor foreign investors wishing to avail opportunity of investment and visitbeautiful places of the country, he added.
To a question about the open visa policy, Ahsan Iqbal said, “We will haveto facilitate the world to achieve the objectives of progress andprosperity.” APP
