SRINAGAR: Indian Army has intensified it’s barbaric operations in occupiedKashmir to suppress the freedom movement but to their utter disappointmentthe Kashmir freedom struggle is rising with each passing day.
In one such operation conducted on Wednesday three freedom fighters weremartyred by Indian troops in the occupied Kashmir.
A complete strike is being observed in the Shopian and Pulwama districts ofIndian occupied Kashmir in protest against the killing of three innocentyouths by Indian forces on Wednesday.
All shops and business establishments are closed while traffic is off theroad in the two districts, the Kashmir Media Service reported.
Sameer Ahmad Wani and Firdous Ahmadwere martyred by Indian troops during asiege and search operation in Chaigund, Shopian district.
Teenager Shakir Ahmad Mir, who belonged to Pulwama district, was martyredafter a bullet hit him during protests against the Indian army operation inthe area last night.
However, the Indian army claimed that the youth were mujahideen and killedduring an encounter with troops.
Meanwhile, Hurriyet leaders said that India had no moral or constitutionalright to celebrate Republic Day in Jammu and Kashmir as it had occupied theterritory against the will of Kashmiri people.
They urged the Kashmiris to completely boycott the official functions onFriday, when the day is observed by India, to convey a message to New Delhithat they reject its illegal occupation.
