2 Changes in Pakistan squad for second T20 match against New Zealand

LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Team has decided to make few changes ahead of thesecond T20 match against New Zealand being played tomorrow.

Ahmed Shehzad is likely to return in the playing XI for the second T20international match against New Zealand as Pakistan prepare to avoid seriesdefeat.

Both experienced campaigners Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad were leftout of the side in the first T20 match. The green shirts had opened withUmar Amin and Fakhar Zaman.

Umar Amin – who was sent in as a replacement for the all-rounder ShoaibMalik – failed to live up to the expectations and got out without troublingthe scoreboard.

Ahmed Shehzad is now expected to open the innings with Fakhar Zaman.Pakistan may also consider giving a chance to Hafeez.

Also, reports claimed that the team selection suggested opening withskipper Sarfraz Ahmed.

New Zealand had thrashed Pakistan with 25 balls to spare in the openingTwenty20 match in Wellington.

The second T20 match will be played on January 25 (Thursday) at Auckland.The game will start at 11am PKT. New Zealand lead the three-match T20series by 1-0.
