ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau in a surprise and assertivegesture has rejected names proposed by the federal government for thevacant post of the prosecutor general NAB.
Sources privy to the government have reported that the government hasrejected five names proposed by the bureau while NAB chairman rejected allthree names forwarded by the government.
Reportedly, the accountability chief has refused to appoint a prosecutorgeneral proposed by the government.
Delay in agreement of the government and NAB over a candidate has causedpostponement of important affairs.
