KARACHI: The inquiry committee over the Naqeebullah encounter has finalisedits report and sent it to the Sindh Governmnet.
The committee formed to probe alleged extrajudicial killing of Naseemullahalias Naqeebullah has made startling revelations about the brutalencounter.
Inquiry recommended suspension of SSP Rao Anwar from his post and arrestinghim.
Sources said the three-member inquiry committee has forwarded its report tothe Sindh government.
The probe body in its report recommended registration of a case againstAnwar and other personnel involved in the suspected police encounter,sources informed Geo News.
The committee also recommended placement of Rao Anwar’s name on the ExitControl List (ECL), they added.
