ISLAMABAD – State Bank of Pakistan released latest figures stating thatevery Pakistani is now indebted by Rs 130,000.

The debt situation of Pakistan continues to increase at an alarming rate asthe latest figures and statistics released by the State Bank of Pakistanindicate.

Pakistan’s total debt has increased to Rs 26,814 billion among which thecountry’s foreign debt has had an additional increase of $88.89 billion.

From July to December 2017, the foreign debt of Pakistan has recorded anincrease of $6 billion.

Pakistan’s total debts have increased by 14.9 percent over the past oneyear, according to the documents.
