ISLAMABAD – Chinese New Year will be celebrated tomorrow amid fireworks,family reunions and watching traditional lion dances.

It is celebrated in China and countries that have a significant Chinesepopulation, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia,Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mauritius, Australia, and thePhilippines.

In his message on the occasion of the Chinese New Year andJashn-e-Baharan, President Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan and China areconnected in all-weather friendship and both the countries stood with eachother in every thick and thin.

He said both the countries are engaged in all-round cooperation, setting ashining example of friendly state-to-state relations.

He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor project has infused a new impetusto the already strong bonds between the two countries.

The President said the strong people to people relation between the twocounties will also open new vistas in the relations between Pakistan andChina.
