QUETTA: Four Frontier Corps (FC) officials were martyred when unknownassailants opened fire at their vehicle in Balochistan’s capital onWednesday.

According to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Quetta Razzaq Cheema, theofficials were conducting routine patrol when they were shot at in DukkaniBaba area of Sariab Road by bike-riding assailants.

The security officials sealed the area after the attack, whileTehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is said to have claimed theresponsibility.

The officials also confirmed that dead bodies of the martyred have beenshifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.
