PABBI: Three bogies of Awam Express derailed on Wednesday causingdisruption in the movement of trains.
According to reports, two persons were injured in the incident.
Railways emergency teams reached the spot and put the bogies back on trackafter which the traffic was restored. No reason for the derailment of thebogies has been given.
In January, two bogies of a Karachi-bound train were derailed, as a resultof a bomb blast that hit the main railway line near Mangoli area of theNasirabad district.
According to the police, an improvised explosive device (IED) was plantedat the track linking Balochistan with the rest of the country byunidentified men, who detonated it when the Bolan Mail was near the Mangoliarea.
While the law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and have startedprobing into the incident, owing to the damaged part of the railway trackthe train service remained suspended for some time following the explosion.
