71 killed as airliner crashes near Moscow: agencies

MOSCOW:In Russia, seventy people were killed when a passenger plane crashed near Moscow today.

News agencies say that there were sixty five passengers and six crew members onboard the plane which went missing from radars less than ten minutes after taking off from Moscow’s Domodedovo airport.

The plane was bound for the Russian city of Orsk in the Orenburg region. TASS news agency quoted a source as saying that the debris of the plane has been found and there are no survivors. It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.APP/AFP
