SRINAGAR – As the operation in the Indian Army camp in Jammu was still on,the Militants have attacked with firing multiple rounds at another Armycamp in Chilli Pora in Kashmir’s Shopian on Sunday, but no casualties werereported, according to reports.
On Saturday, at least five Indian Army soldiers were killed after suspectedmilitants attacked the Sunjwan Army camp in Jammu. A civilian was killedtoo.
The attackers engaged in an intense gunfight with Army personnel for over30 hours. Three were neutralised.
Later, there was a ruckus in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, with BJP MLAsraising anti-Pakistan slogans, and National Conference leader Akbar Loneresponding with pro-Pakistan chants.
While discussing Lone’s remarks, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullahon Sunday said no force could take Kahsmir away from India.
