RAWALPINDI- Chairman European Union Military Committee General MikhailKastarakos called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi onThursday.

Regional security issues and matters of mutual interest were discussedduring the meeting.

The visiting dignitary appreciated the resolve of Pakistan Army and itscontinuing efforts towards fighting terrorism and bringing peace in theregion.

Earlier the EU Military Commission Chief held a meeting with the Pakistandefence minister Khurram Dastagir Khan.
