LAHORE – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (R) JavedIqbal has on Saturday taken notice of alleged corruption in Lahore-Karachimotorway contracts.

NAB chairman has ordered to conduct a thorough inquiry of allottingcontracts at expensive rates and vowed to bring the responsible persons tojustice.

Javed Iqbal further directed that the project should not be delayed owingto NAB probe. NAB would continue its efforts against corruption and misuseof national treasure, he maintained.

Earlier the media reports had also surfaced revealing corruption andsuspicion in the Lahore Karachi Motorway projects.
