*LAHORE: * Lahore Qalandars franchise has been put up for sale on eBay, ane-commerce website.
The *mock adlink>*titled‘Lahore Qalandars PSL T20 Team’ mentions the product condition as “forparts or not working”. The seller jokes in one note saying “Looks like allthe parts are there, but won’t run properly”.
The ‘PSL’ brand offering under ‘Qalandar’ model exhibits a starting bid ofjust $1.
In the product description, the ad poster makes it clear that the team hasno warranty, it is three-year-old, and that all offers will be considered.
It says, “Only 3 years old, however it is out of warranty. Requires somelove and attention to return to good working order. I have receipts for allof the parts.”
The team is said to run on the New-Zealand engine, hinting skipper BrendonMcCullum who appears to be fighting alone in the batting lineup.
“Unfortunately, I brought the wrong ones. You may be able to return theUmar Akmal if you still have the tags,” cautions the seller. It is toldthat Akmal can “even run on grapes”.
So far, Lahore Qalandars have lost all their matches in PSL 2018. They areon the bottom of the table with five losses, one each against everyfranchise.
