DUBAI – Boom Boom Shahid Afridi will be unavailable from the PSL matchesfor at least 10 days due to a knee injury.
“An MRI scan on Shahid Afridi’s knee has detected an infection,” Afridi’sspokesperson told the media.
Afridi has been advised at least 10-day rest by doctors. His condition willbe monitored after few days to decide the course ahead, Dawn News hsreported.
Shahid Afridi’s absence from the PSL matches has come out to be a blow tonot only to Karachi Kings but entire Pakistani cricket fans.
Later on, the Kings painted a less gloomy picture, adding: “Shahid Afridi’sMRI scan suggests slight muscular swelling around the right knee area.Further tests will clear everything.”
If the prognosis proves to be accurate then Afridi will end up missing amajor part of the remainder of the league matches, although he could stillcome back in time for the play-offs.
