ISLAMABAD – Interior minister Ahsan Iqbal has rejected the rumours aboutCh Nisar quitting party or making his own faction of PML-N.
He asserted on Friday that there is no truth to the news about formerinterior minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader ChaudhryNisar having parted ways with the party.
A statement issued by the minister asserted that Nisar is a senior leaderof PML-N and that he was a member of the ruling party.
While talking about the political front, he said that PML-N is beingsubjected to injustice which is why more people are siding with it and theparty graph is rising.
Iqbal said that ill efforts against democratic government are failing turnby turn. Certain forces were on the opinion that PML-N would fall afterdisqualification of Nawaz Sharif as the premier of Pakistan. Party’s graphhas improved instead owing to anti-PML-N decisions, he added.
The interior minister said that the government is progressing towardsholding General Elections 2018 on due time which was an indicator ofPakistan being on the track to become a strengthened and stable democracy.
