DUBAI – Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by 19 runs in the secondmatch of Pakistan Super League’s third edition on Friday.
Quetta failed to chase 150 runs target set by Karachi Kings.
Karachi Kings batted first and scored 149 runs for the loss of ninewickets. South Africa’s Colin Ingram scored 41 runs whereas opener KhurramManzoor scored 35 runs.
In reply, Quetta Gladiators lost three wickets for just 15 runs. Umar Aminand Muhammad Nawaz gave them some hope by scoring 31 and 30 runsrespectively but Shahid Afridi’s performance with ball and fielding changedthem game.
Quetta Gladiators were restricted to just 130 runs in 20 overs. Karachi’sskipper Imad Wasim was best of all the bowlers he took wickets by concedingjust 19 runs.
