ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has immediately acted uponthe orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and has removed name of NawazSharif from its record as party president of PMLN.

ECP has removed the name of Mian Nawaz Sharif as president of the PML-Nfrom all record of the commission.

According to reports, the ECP has also decided to ask the PML-N elect newpresident of the party.

PML N will have to select the new Party President after the verdict of theSupreme Court of Pakistan disqualifying Nawaz Sharif from the post.
