PESHAWAR – Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra says theestablishment of honorary consulate office of Russian Federation inPeshawar will further strengthen diplomatic and business relations betweenthe two countries.

Addressing at the inaugural ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of RussianFederation in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said the Russian Federation andPakistan have entered into a new phase of their diplomatic relationships.

He said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will be ofgreat help in further strengthening the bonds of economic relationships inthis part of the world.

Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said the Honorary Consulate of Russian Federation willin the promotion of educational and business opportunities for the peopleof both the countries.

Consul General of Russian Federation in Peshawar, Mr. Muhammad Arsalan Khanwas also present on this occasion.
