JAMMU – Three soldiers of Indian Army were injured in an attack bymilitants near LoC.

At 1725 hours, security forces observed suspicious movement close to anIndian post.

The militants opened fire on the post. One Rocket-propelled grenade or RPGwas also fired towards the post.

Three jawans sustained injuries and have been admitted to the hospital,said news agency ANI.

The body of a militant was later recovered. Four RPGs were also recovered.

The body was recovered during a search and sanitisation operation launchedafter the Army foiled an attempt by a group of militants to attack post inKhari Karmara sector yesterday evening, the official said.
