LAHORE – An accountability court on Tuesday extended the remand of formerLahore Development Authority (LDA) director general Ahad Cheema and fiveothers into the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) tillApril 4.

The AC judge was conducting hearing against ex-LDA DG Ahad Cheema and fiveothers incase related to Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing scheme scam.

During the proceedings, the lawyer argued that Ahad Cheema was involved incorruption in Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing scheme.

He claimed that huge record was retrieved from Cheema’s laptop and prayedthe court to extend remand for interrogation into data obtained from hislaptop.

The while extending the remand adjourned the hearing till April 4.
