LAHORE –Kia Motors is back in Pakistan with a bang and is partnering withLucky Cement group. The South Korean automaker, which was earliermanufacturing cars with Deewan Farooque, had stopped its production in 2009.
Recently, Kia Lucky Motors signed an agreement with Ministry of Industriesand Production to start the production of light commercial and passengervehicles in the South Asian country. The agreement took place underAutomotive Development Policy 2016-2021.

Kia Sportage is a compact SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) and has a seatingcapacity of five people powered with 2.0 liter Nu Mpi (Multi PointInjection) or 2.4-liter Theta GDI engine.
*Kia Grand Carnival*
Kia Grand Carnival is a 4-door Minivan and has the capacity for 11 persons.The Van is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine and an acceleration of 8.6 secfrom 0-100 KPH.
*K2700 Pickup*
Kia K2700 is a Pickup truck with a seating capacity for three persons. Thepick-up has a 2.7-liter diesel engine and is known for its durability andvalue. The displacement is up to 2655, maximum power is 80Ps/ 4000rpm andthe maximum torque is 16.8kg*m/ 2400rpm.
As of now, the prices of these cars are not revealed and there is noconfirmation of which car will be launched by KIA Motors, but only thesefour are displayed on the main page so there is a quite high chance thatthese four cars will be the first ones to be launched.
