ISLAMABAD- The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA)has restored the membership of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) today.
The membership of PFF was suspended last year in October due to politicalinterference in the organisation.
On October 11, 2017, FIFA issued the statement on its website, ‘The Bureautook this decision as a result of the fact that the PFF offices and itsaccounts remain in control of a court-appointed administrator, whichconstitutes a violation of the PFF obligations to manage its affairsindependently and without influence from any third parties in accordancewith the FIFA Statutes.’
The suspension will be lifted once the PFF offices and access to the PFFaccounts are returned to the PFF, the statement further read.
