RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has reached PanuAqil cantonment where he was briefed about the security situation on theeastern border.

COAS visited the operational area on the eastern border in Pannu AqilDivision on Saturday.According to the ISPR, the COAS was briefed about operational preparationsof the troops.

The COAS lauded the best operational preparations and high morale of thetroops.

Meanwhile, COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa was the chief guest of the All PakistanMehran Shooting Championship at Saleh Pat. Pak Army won the championship.

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah, CommanderKarachi Corps Lt Gen Shahid Baig Mirza and Pannu Aqil GOC Maj GenZafarullah Khan and other officers were also present.
