ISLAMABAD – Pakistan managed to draw hockey match against arch-rivals India2-2 in the final seconds on Saturday in the opening match of the 2018Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

Pakistan pulled off the draw on the penalty corner after Dilpreet Singhscored in the first quarter while Harmanpreet Singh converted a penaltycorner in the second to give Indian men’s hockey team a 2-0 lead.

Pakistan won two penalty corners in the final 7 seconds.

According to India Today “India would have lost by a big margin had it notbeen for Sreejesh’s outstanding goalkeeping. He saved atleast 5 to 6 shotson target from Pakistan throughout the match”
