ISLAMABAD – Islamabad Police officer on Thursday has been arrested forallegedly raping woman in Islamabad.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Najeeb-ur-Rehman,officer Tanveer was detained to fulfill all the legal requirements. A casehas also been registered against him.

On the other hand, the woman has been allowed to go home after medicalcheckup.

SSP Najeeb said that no one is above the law and pledged to ensure justiceto the victim at any cost.
