SRINAGAR – In Occupied Kashmir, the state Human Rights Commission hasissued notice to Senior Superintendent of Police, Shopian, directing him tosubmit a detailed report about killing of civilians and human shieldincidents during the cordon and search operations by Indian troops inShopian.

The commission issued the order in response to a petition filed by theChairman International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, Muhammad AhsanUntoo. The petition has also sought medical assistance of more than 200injured persons.
