Pakistan cricket team sets a new record of its T20 international history

KARACHI: Pakistan cricket team has set a new record of its T20international cricket history by scoring its highest ever score of 205.

Babar Azam’s 97 off 58 took Pakistan to 205-3 against West Indies in secondT-20 match here at National Stadium on Monday.

The other hero of the day was young Hussain Talat who once again proved hismettle scoring handy 63 off 41 with aid of eight fours and a six.

Both the young guns of Pakistan joined the crease just after the earlywicket of Fakhar Zaman who just made six runs. Emrit accounted for theleft-hander on the total of 11 runs.

They both put together a healthy partnership of 119 runs before well goingHussain lost his wicket to debutant Odean Smith.

Asif Ali scored 14 while Shoaib Malik remained not out with 17 runs.

Karsick Williams, Rayad Emrit and Odean Smith took one wicket each.

Earlier skipper Pakistan, Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and decided to batfirst against.

Pakistan is leading the three match series 1-0 after defeating the maroonarmy by 143 runs last night.

“Pitch looks good, we will try to put a lengthy total on the scoreboard,”Sarfraz said after winning the toss.

On the other hand Windies Captain Jason Mohammad feels that his team keptnerves to make a strong comeback.
