ISLAMABAD- President Mamnoon Hussain has conferred Nishan-e-Imtiaz Militaryon Commandeer Turkish Navy Admiral Adnan Özbal.

Speaking on the occasion in Islamabad on Monday, he said that defence tiesbetween Pakistan and Turkey will further improve in future.

The President said democratic institutions of both the countries are deeplylinked with one another.

He said depth in the ties between Islamabad and Ankara is beyond words.

The President said Pakistan and Turkey are cooperating each other oninternational fora.

Mamnoon Hussain said that Turkey is playing a courageous role in resolvingissues confronting the Muslim Ummah.

He lauded the role of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for peace inAfghanistan.

He said Turkey has wholeheartedly hosted migrants at its soil. He stressedthe need for unity among the Muslim world.
