LAHORE – The provincial excise department has recommended to impose 20 to30 percent tax on cinema houses, said sources.
They said the department has incurred millions of rupees loss due toexemption to cinema houses.
It may be noted that the Punjab government is finalizing budget proposalsbeing received from different stakeholders.
The excise department has put forward comprehensive proposals relating toimposition of taxes and duties on various segments of economy.
