*Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Majlis (Parliament) speaker Ali Larijani in amessage congratulated Sadiq Sanjrani on his election as Chairman ofPakistani Senate.*

In his message released on Saturday, Larijani said joint consultationsbetween the two countries in recent years have resulted in reinforcingbilateral parliamentary cooperation.

He expressed confidence that mutual parliamentary ties would further expandin the future.

Developing parliamentary cooperation is the principled policy of IranianMajlis, he added.
