NEW DELHI – India has responded to missile attacks on Saudi Arabia earlierthis week targeting capital Riyadh and other cities by Houthi militias inYemen.

“We strongly condemn the renewed missile attacks targeting civilian areasin the direction of Riyadh and other cities of Saudi Arabia,” externalaffairs ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said in response to mediaqueries.

“We are deeply concerned about the escalating situation threatening thelives of innocent civilians,” he said. “We reiterate our resolve to fightterrorism and violence in all its forms.”
