ISLAMABAD – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Thursdaysaid that he has lost nothing and gained a lot from his recent meeting withPrime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Reacting to meeting with PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while hearing a caserelated to the illegal constructions in Murree, he said that he will notdisappoint his institution and lawyers.

The CJP urged the judiciary and lawyers to trust him.

Justice Saqib Nisar went on to say that it is his duty to hear thecomplaint of everyone, adding that the prime minister came but he didn’tgive him (Shahid Khaqan Abbasi) anything.

Earlier on Tuesday, the prime minister held a meeting with the CJP inIslamabad.

Abbasi assured Justice Saqib Nisar that the government would provide allresources to judiciary in order to provide easy, speedy and inexpensivejustice to the people during the meeting.

The chief justice assured the prime minister that he would look into thematter and such litigation shall be fast tracked.
